Recent activities in the Literacy unit have been on the wonderful novel "Skellig" by David Almond.

The children have shown great enthusiasm and engagement while exploring the themes of the book. Inspired by "Skellig," we embarked on creating balanced arguments around the topic of "Homeschooling vs State Schooling." This exercise not only helped them understand different perspectives but also honed their debating skills.

Further, delving into the imaginative world of "Skellig" inspired us to craft our own poems centred around its themes and characters. This activity provided an excellent opportunity for the students to express their creativity and improve their poetic techniques. We are proud of the efforts and progress each child has made.
