School Building Fund
We are a catholic community that gives daily witness to the Gospel values proclaimed by Jesus. Through the teaching of Christ together we are growing in self-confidence, growing in knowledge and understanding, growing in individual skills and talents, growing in our friendships and in love and appreciation of God’s world.
Diocesan Fund
Parents are asked to contribute to the Diocesan Building Fund which pays 10% towards building work and improvements through a voluntary family subscription of £5.00 per month. A maintained local authority school would not be expected to pay 10% towards building costs.
This is because the school building is owned by the diocese and not the local authority. Your child is very fortunate to be in a catholic school. Our school community respects and values each and everyone recognising that each person is unique and made in God’s image.
Apart from having high standards of behaviour and high academic standards, we endeavour to provide a building and resources that enhance our provision. This enables your child to be educated in the best possible environment and with up to date facilities to fulfil their potential.
The Buildings Fund really helps the school to move forward with exciting and innovative projects. It is ring fenced and cannot be used on anything except building projects.
We urge you to consider paying into this fund with whatever you can give on a monthly basis. This means that money given to the school for the children is used on the children whilst buildings, new construction and replacement of the fabric of the school can be funded through grants with the 10% towards the total cost being paid from our building fund.
If you would like to contribute to our buildings fund you can make a donation at the school office or set up a monthly direct debit. For more information, please contact the school office.
